Communication is a thread that touches all areas of our lives — from our careers and health to our relationships and leisure time.
Whether you're aiming to take a bold leap in your professional path or seeking guidance from your child's teacher, you inevitably encounter the necessity of verbal or written communication. Your ability to communicate can either unlock doors to your desires or trap you in a cycle of unease and frustration. However, you may have already realized that communication goes beyond a mere knowledge of vocabulary and grammar—it delves into something more profound. But what exactly is that? And more importantly, how can you reach a level of communication where you feel at ease, express yourself fluently, and build meaningful connections that help you achieve your goals?

These were the very questions I asked myself ten years ago when I relocated to the United States. Despite being an English teacher with a certification from Cambridge University, I soon discovered that my well-rounded English language skills were lacking something. It wasn't a matter of grammar or linguistic barriers; it went much deeper—the way I communicated. That realization became a pivotal moment in my life, prompting me to embark on a new journey of self-improvement. And the more I invested in enhancing my communication skills, the more "life perks" I began to experience: a free mug from the barista at my local coffee shop, invaluable advice from locals regarding my child's interests, and a new job that allowed me to apply my project management skills. These experiences, both big and small, have made my life easier, enabled me to enjoy conversations, and helped me attain my desired outcomes.

The moment when shyness and awkwardness transformed into relaxation and joy during conversations marked a turning point in my journey of emigration. And the longer I live and work in the American world, the more I've come to realize that emigration is akin to a game — a new country with a new language and new rules. Understanding these rules and following them makes emigration much more comfortable.

That's precisely why I decided to create this online training — to assist fellow immigrants in harnessing the power of effective communication and taking their emigration game in the US to new heights — enabling them to achieve their goals and enjoy their life on a daily basis. Having already taught over 450 individuals the fundamentals of grammar and pronunciation, I believe it's now time to delve deeper.

THE COURSE IS DESIGNED
FOR EMIGRANTS WHO:
  • Wish to transition from a survival job to their desired field and need to enhance their communication skills for that significant leap.
  • Currently work with Americans but often feel frustrated when faced with questions like "Is it appropriate...", "What is the best way to express...", "How should I ask for...", and so on.
  • Aspire to integrate into American society and be an active part of it, feeling confident when interacting with neighbors, their children's teachers, and other individuals they engage with on a daily basis.
The main feature of this online training is its comprehensive approach, focusing not only on improving business communication but also personal communication. My aim is to help you feel at ease in all areas of your life in the US, enabling smooth interactions with others. That's why we focus on not only grammar constructions but also on developing a deep understanding of American culture — because without grasping the key values, even a solid knowledge of English might not make much sense.
THE COURSE PROGRAM
American people often react and behave differently in similar situations compared to us, all due to the distinctive features of their culture. When you weren't raised in this environment, it's easy to feel stuck or uncertain when it comes to communication. In this lesson, I will immerse you in the most important aspects — the key values that define effective communication in the US.

Duration: 1.5 hours
How can you effectively navigate conversations and emails at work, whether they involve job tasks or casual interactions with your coworkers? What tone and approaches should you employ to express your ideas, ask questions, and share your perspectives in the right manner? Through real-life examples and practical exercises, you will acquire the skills to communicate confidently with your boss, colleagues, and potential clients.

Duration: 1.5 hours
In the American world, reputation plays a significant role — how people perceive you often determines how they treat you. It's no surprise that individuals with a strong reputation receive better job offers, form more meaningful connections, and experience faster growth, even if they come from different countries. In this lesson, we will focus on the general rules of politeness in American business culture and guide you in building a positive reputation among the people you interact with.

Duration: 3 hours (2 sessions x 1.5 hours)
Personal communication is an essential and inevitable part of emigration, and it can be challenging due to cultural differences. How do you effectively share your opinions while being appropriate? How do you navigate discussions when you hold opposing views? In this session, you will learn how to express your opinions and provide constructive criticism in a more positive manner, empowering you to communicate with confidence in personal interactions.

Duration: 1.5 hours
In the real world, it's natural to encounter issues that are beyond our control but can impact our plans and arrangements. How do you deliver bad news or politely decline without causing conflict? In this lesson, you will master the vital skill of handling difficult conversations, enabling you to communicate with American individuals without fear or frustration.

Duration: 1.5 hours
Effective communication is a skill, and in this final session, I will ensure that you have absorbed all the necessary tools to make that skill work for you and your goals. We will also address specific cases and situations that are commonly encountered during your emigration journey.
